Previous to her insurance work, Joan was a school teacher. She was the favorite of the students, as they enjoyed her classes.

Joan is an independent agent, representing many different health plan carriers. Licensed by the California Department of Insurance, she has passed the certifications required to enroll seniors in Medicare Advantage Plans.
Joan has valued life-long learning. Besides continuing education courses and insurance certifications, Joan has also earned her Master of Science from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
